Playground

Blue
dot,
angel face,
do
not
run away.

Red
fire,
repressed
at deep,
steam
out,
be blue
and
free.

Green
leaf,
deep
street
eyes,
dead souls
lots
of
wives.

Union
lilac,
circle
entering
crescent moon,
souls
entwined,
in
stardust
truth.

Days
darken
faster
now,
another
bloom
might
be
awhile
in
deflowered
hearts.

Purple
dream
intoxicated
night
my
mind
plays
tricks
on
nocturnal
life.

  1. wow! the images are powerful and the fragmented narration takes the poem to a new level. I love your style. Blogrolling your blog…looking forward to more.

  2. Thank you for spending time here, in the playground. Malene

  3. Just came across your blog. Love the short style of this one – in fact I really like the diverse range in meter that you use across the board. JK

  4. Good evening JK, thank you very much for your comment. I’m glad you liked it. I’m looking forward to dig into your writings.
    Have a good night.
