Animal tales

A frog jumps to catch a fly,
meanwhile a flower stretches its veiny arms.
The sun bursts out laughing,
as a black goat with rosy lips crosses a lush patch of moss.
A spider is eating its prey, so is the food-chain.
No animal has shed a tear today.
A cow is trying on a zebra’s stripes,
hoping to transform,
while three pigs and a cat are starring at each other.
A tree creates shade for a small lamb,
as the midday sun flaunts her warmth.
A donkey refuses to move, for no apparent reason,
or so it seems.
The grass smells green as the grasshopper lulls
itself to sleep.
A brown and blue winged bird is resting
in the footstep of a rhino,
that had just passed.
