Night tale #1

There was nothing to fear in the streets of tonight.

There were occasional drunks, yes, and a man, seeming lonely.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             He seemed to miss the warmth of a woman’s touch, so as he passed her, he couldn’t help but notice her figure, reminiscently.

There were the stars above, reminding me of the universe and the energy that we share.

There were the trees, green in all senses, unfolding fragile arms of life, each one, worth tears.

I felt rather light and kept breaking boundaries of rational preconceptions, which seemed to be handed as a gift at birth. Irrational and wild I came to dance,

I hold no grudge; I have forgotten yesterday, I want to play. Again.

  1. i feel the buzz of life from the words you write Malene, beautiful words that compliment your view of the world around. love where you say “handed as a gift at birth”. Happy Easter, have a good one.

  2. Trev, lovely you stopped by. I don’t know how you read it, but for me, “handed as a gift from birth”, was actually written with a hint of a rebellious voice, since I feel rebellious about things that have always been a certain way. As a newborn and throughout your “life-education” you are “taught” how to be/think in life, for some this means a loss of creative force, since they are not used to explore new ways for themselves and that thought makes me sad.
(Sorry for a long explanation. :))
I hope you’re enjoying Easter as well.
