Heart of wilderness

Though I’m wild like the howling moon
I know not yet how to imitate her roar.
Though I have yet to know
The secrets of nature’s love and dangers
I dream of his embrace.
The moon and I
hymn the stars to sleep.
My impatient heart
Longs to release.
These are the legends
Of the nightly breeze.
