Sorrow

He has not left a trace,

a faint smell only.

I was his flesh,

his blood.

Tears have turned homeless,

I don’t recall him.

Ascending,

entering the hidden was a burden,

which he could not

allow faith.

A child.

Gradually a man,

gradually numbed.

Gradually losing the

pain of no goodbye!

  1. Such deep sadness in these lines.

  2. Yes, very true. However I find that sadness does fade. It’s very interesting how we feel unpleasant things, like a shock-wave through the body, then to feel the surfacing ripples lessening, slowly the disaster is nearly forgotten / or hidden away? Where does sorrow go?
