About a wave

A wave takes its time,
crossing an ocean.
Not worrying about direction,
because she’s carried.
Not wondering whether the
other waves deem the way
she rolls acceptable.
A wave just follows the current,
as a part of the whole.
A wave often laughs heartily,
and when laughter peaks
that’s when foam appears –
a visual outburst of true joy.
