The walk

Below a cloudless cluster
Of choices
You’ve unchained yourself
Roaming on the warm
Winds of Venus.

The decisions
Made you lose
And gain
All the same.

Some friends don’t know you now
But you’d still remember
That you shaped
Each other.
You still remember,
But remorse is a stone
Woven of yesterdays.

The Earth remains.
We however will
Crumble like little wings
In the moment of surrender
Will we then accept transition?

  1. A good poem. Your final line makes me go searching though your poem for its transitions…

  2. Thank you for stopping by and for your comment. I wonder if the search was fruitful for you?
Looking forward to be checking out your writings too. Enjoy Sunday.
